History

An amazing volunteer created a slideshow that shows our first 18 years as Bread of Life.
In 1989, a seed was planted by a truckload of donated snacks. By 1994, Southeastern Food bank, then known as Bread of Life Fellowship, grew into a faith-based 501(c)3 non-profit organization that met the physical and, more importantly, spiritual needs of families in Central Florida. In 2017, God expanded the capabilities of Southeastern with a new warehouse in North Florida, and we are currently believing for yet another expansion into South Florida by 2020.

Each day, Southeastern accepts our Great Commission to meet the immediate needs of God's beloved.
