Thanksgiving 2024- Food For Families Sorting and Packing Events - 11/9, 11/16, 11/23 @ 9:00am-12pm
Southeastern Food Bank along with Publix Super Markets and hundreds of volunteers from the local community will un-load, set up, sort and pack 2000+ boxes of food to be delivered through out the central Florida area this fall. The goal of this event is to bring the community together. We always have an amazing turn out every year including families, churches, schools, athletic teams, and other civic organizations who take time out of their busy schedules to unite and make a positive impact in the community. While the food helps meet the immediate need in the community, the joint effort of putting ourselves aside to help others is really what will make way for a better tomorrow.

Get ready for an incredible opportunity to serve! For 3 hours, we’ll be loading up your vehicle in a convenient drive-thru style, so you can head out into some of the most underserved communities throughout Orange County. We need energetic, friendly volunteers to deliver groceries—and the Gospel—to families in need. Simply meet us at West Orlando Baptist Church, drive through to get your vehicle loaded, and then hit the streets to make a real difference!

Christmas 2024 Food For Families Distribution Event- 12/14 @ 8:00am-11:00am
We will be hosting a food distribution for 3 hours where we need volunteers to help load vehicles with boxes of food into vehicles and volunteer drivers to deliver boxes of food into the impoverished communities of Central Florida. We are looking for outgoing and friendly personalities to go out into the community sharing the Gospel and groceries with people in desperate need.

This is a community volunteer opportunity where we load up volunteer vehicles and they will deliver boxes of food into the impoverished communities of Central Florida. We are looking for outgoing and friendly personalities to go out into the community to distribute food.
